Please check out the most common questions I get below, but if you can’t find an answer, feel free to:

FAQs

How do you do so many things?

ADHD, baby! I really do get asked this question a lot and I’ll say it’s a lot of hyperfocus, a lot of not doing all the stuff I should (like dishes, laundry, etc.), and also that the internet convinces people that everyone else is working on everything all the time. In reality, I spend multiple-day stretches in athleisure listening to audiobooks, playing Q-Less, and being a die-hard romantic between my more magical-seeming, artistic pursuits. And sometimes, I even do my dishes.

Are you doing custom tattoo work?

I love custom tattoo proposals! Go to my contact page for the tattoo inquiry form. I do not, however, mimic others’ styles or artwork, nor do I accept drawings by clients or tattoo tickets.

How do I work with you? Are you accepting apprentices?

For artwork commissions, freelance design, and tattoos, visit my contact page (links on the header and footer of this page).

I am not taking on apprentices, as I’m still in my first few years of tattooing. While I have shared my knowledge with two close friends (Luanne Wilson and Bee Ho) after careful consideration of how to responsibly skillshare, I am not available for mentorship in tattooing to the general public.

Unfortunately, I do not have advice on seeking an apprenticeship, as I have no experience with the process and do not know anyone offering apprenticeships.

Do you do counseling and coaching work anymore?

I began a hiatus from counseling in 2022 and would like to return to the work in late 2025. Please reach out if this interests you.

What are your rates?

I work on a sliding scale for every single offering I have. I typically ask folks to carefully consider their budget, and I provide them with a range that I’m able to accommodate. If my rates don’t work, I do my best to suggest alternative routes but cannot guarantee I always have recommendations.

Always feel free to reach out with questions and be honest about your budget!

Can I pick your brain?

I’m always open to one-off consultations and can provide my rates via email, just send me an inquiry.

In general, the free advice I provide is offered in a public format or prioritized on a one-on-one basis to those within my community.
